Paroo, Menindee and Broken Hill

Today
we celebrated two weeks away. We had a really nice meal at a the pub
and then on to see the sculptures and sunset at Broken Hill. The sunset
was disappointing and the sculptures was made by a whole lot artistic
wankers. to my uneducated eye. should have stayed in the pub. Needless
to say - no photos.
Paroo was a bit scary as we had a huge storm
and we thought we were going to be stuck there for a week. kept us up
all night worrying but the next morning a two wheel drive made it
in. Two adventurous gay guys who were lots of fun and thought they were
straight out of Priscilla!!
Menindee was also disappointing but
maybe we were expecting too much. Only stayed there one night and it
was a friday and as busy as bloody Burke Street.
Nice camp though
Broken
Hill was great. Lots of great art galleries and museums. Took a trip
out to Silverton for Kays sake and had a wonderful lunch. Almost a
ghost town now but at one stage it was bigger that BH. We were a bit
disappointned that no-one tried to sell us BHP shares. but the stock
exchange was closed - >30 years ago.
